Estimated Delivery Times
Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only.
While Aston Workwear makes reasonable efforts to dispatch goods within the stated timeframe, we do not accept liability for failure to deliver within estimated timescales, particularly where delays are caused by:
courier performance
adverse weather
supply chain disruption
customs or border controls
Risk, Delivery & Acceptance
The customer must accept delivery when goods are presented.
Delivery is deemed to take place when goods are delivered to the customer’s nominated delivery address or reception point.
Risk of loss, damage, or breakage passes to the customer upon delivery, whether or not the goods are subsequently handled internally.
Couriers are contracted to deliver to a reception, loading bay, or designated delivery point only and are not required to deliver to internal departments.
Inspection, Damage & Shortages
Upon delivery, the customer must:
Inspect the consignment immediately
Check the number of parcels received
Examine packaging for visible damage
Before signing for delivery, any damage or shortages must:
be reported to the courier
be clearly noted on the delivery note
For parcel deliveries, the customer must ensure they sign only for the number of parcels actually received.
Once a delivery is signed for without notation, the risk of damage or shortage passes fully to the customer.
Notification of Issues
Damage or shortages must be notified to Aston Workwear in writing within 5 working days of receipt.
Missing deliveries must be reported within 10 working days from the invoice date.
Aston Workwear does not accept liability for:
claims notified outside these timeframes
goods signed for as received in good condition
Proof of Delivery (POD)
Requests for Proof of Delivery (POD) must be made within 2 months of the invoice date.
Requests received after this period may not be available.
Title to Goods
Legal title to goods remains with Aston Workwear until payment is received in full, in cleared funds.
Returns Statement (Clarification)
Any reference to “returns” is subject strictly to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
“No-quibble” language does not override statutory exclusions, custom-made goods restrictions, PPE exemptions, or Business-to-Business terms.
Delayed or Missing Orders
If your order has not arrived within 3–5 working days of the estimated delivery date, we recommend contacting us promptly so we can investigate with the courier.
Failure to notify us within the timeframes stated above may limit our ability to pursue a claim on your behalf.
